- 11 ounce package milk chocolate melted
- 11 ounce package white chocolate melted
Topping
- 4 peppermint candy canes crushed
Base
- 24 graham cracker squares or 12 full size crackers
Instructions
- Melt Milk Chocolate: Melt milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating at 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth, about a total of 90 seconds.
- Dip Graham Crackers in Milk Chocolate: Dip one end of each graham cracker into the milk chocolate, then lay them on parchment paper. Repeat with all graham crackers and allow the chocolate to set completely.
- Melt White Chocolate: Using the same method, melt white chocolate in the microwave until smooth.
- Dip Other End in White Chocolate and Add Peppermint: Dip the opposite end of each graham cracker into the melted white chocolate, then immediately sprinkle crushed peppermint candy canes on top. Lay back on parchment paper and allow to set completely.
Notes
- Use Ghirardelli candy melts for easy melting and superior taste, as no tempering is needed.
- To speed up the chocolate setting process, place the dipped graham crackers in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
- Store the finished Chocolate Peppermint Grahams in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerated for a colder texture.
- Crush candy canes by placing them in a plastic bag and gently rolling a rolling pin over them; this is a fun activity for kids.
- Substitute dark chocolate for milk chocolate if preferred, for a richer flavor.
