Description

A vibrant and refreshing Easy Christmas Fruit Salad featuring a mix of apples, grapes, pomegranate arils, kiwis, and raspberries, lightly coated with honey and lime juice for a festive and healthy holiday treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1 Cosmic Crisp apple, sliced
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
  • ½ cup red grapes
  • 1/3 cup pomegranate arils
  • 3 kiwis, peeled, sliced and halved
  • 1 ½ cups raspberries

Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

  1. Combine fruits: In a large bowl, fold together green grapes, sliced Cosmic Crisp apple, sliced Granny Smith apple, red grapes, pomegranate arils, and sliced and halved kiwis until well mixed.
  2. Add dressing: Drizzle the mixture with honey and lime juice, gently tossing to evenly coat the fruits without bruising them.
  3. Fold in delicate berries: Add the raspberries last, carefully folding them in to avoid crushing as they are delicate.
  4. Serve or store: Enjoy the Christmas fruit salad immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, preferably less if the fruit is very ripe.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh ripe fruits but avoid overripe ones to prevent mushiness.
  • Substitute honey with maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • Use lime juice freshly squeezed for optimal flavor.
  • Keep the dressing light to maintain the natural sweet and tart balance of the fruits.
  • Serve chilled for a refreshing holiday side dish or dessert.
