Garlic Parmesan Butter

Chicken Skewers
- 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2-inch strips
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the garlic parmesan butter: Melt the butter in a medium-sized bowl, then add the grated garlic, parmesan cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine. Note that the butter sauce may firm up while you make the recipe, which is normal.
- Trim the skewers: Cut the wooden skewers to fit your air fryer using heavy-duty poultry shears or kitchen shears designed for deboning. Alternatively, use metal skewers that fit your air fryer.
- Skewer the chicken: Thread 6 to 7 pieces of chicken thigh strips tightly onto each skewer. Repeat until all chicken pieces are used. Season the skewers evenly with 2 teaspoons salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
- Brush with garlic parmesan butter: Using a basting brush, coat all sides of each chicken skewer generously with the prepared garlic parmesan butter.
- Cook the chicken skewers: Place the skewers in the air fryer at 350°F. Cook for 5 minutes, then remove and baste again with more butter. Cook for another 5 minutes, baste once more, and cook a final 5 minutes, totaling 15 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
