Description

This Oreo Fudge recipe combines creamy white chocolate and sweetened condensed milk with crunchy Oreo cookies to create a decadent, no-bake treat that's easy to make and perfect for sharing or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Base

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14 oz
  • 2 ¾ cups (468 g) white chocolate chips
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Add-ins

  • 10 Oreos, chopped
  • Additional broken Oreos for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pan: Line an 8 or 9 inch square baking dish with aluminum foil, ensuring the foil extends up the sides of the pan for easy removal. Set aside.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a microwave-safe glass bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips until just combined.
  3. Microwave and Stir: Microwave the mixture on full power for 1 minute. Stir thoroughly after microwaving until the chocolate chips have fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Avoid overheating to prevent scorching which causes crumbly fudge.
  4. Add Flavorings: Stir in the chopped Oreos, salt, and vanilla extract until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  5. Transfer and Set: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Press additional broken Oreos on top if desired. Allow the fudge to set on the counter for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, loosely covered with foil.
  6. Cut and Store: Once firm, remove the fudge from the pan using the foil edges and cut into 25 squares. Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1-2 weeks.

Notes

  • Ensure not to microwave the mixture for longer than 1 minute to avoid burning the chocolate, which results in a gritty texture.
  • Using a glass microwave-safe bowl helps distribute heat evenly for smooth melting.
  • Feel free to substitute white chocolate chips with other chocolate types, but this will change the flavor profile.
  • Pressing extra Oreos on top adds a crunchy texture and attractive presentation.
  • For firmer fudge, refrigerate instead of setting at room temperature, though this may affect texture slightly.
