Description

These Turkey Sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or meal featuring thin-sliced deli turkey and Swiss cheese layered on soft Hawaiian rolls, topped with a buttery, flavorful glaze seasoned with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning, then baked until hot and melty.

Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese

Butter Glaze

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Rolls: Without separating the rolls, slice them in half horizontally. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared casserole dish, creating a base for the sliders.
  3. Layer Ingredients: Evenly layer the thinly sliced deli turkey over the bottom halves of the rolls. Then add a layer of Swiss cheese on top of the turkey.
  4. Add Top Rolls: Place the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls over the cheese layer, covering the sliders.
  5. Make Butter Glaze: Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until combined well.
  6. Brush Glaze: Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Allow the rolls to sit for 5 minutes so they can absorb some of the butter glaze.
  7. Bake Sliders: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove the foil during the last 5 minutes to allow the tops to brown slightly and the cheese to melt fully.
  8. Serve: Remove from oven and serve the sliders warm, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.

Notes

  • For appetizer servings, plan on 1-2 sliders per person; for a full meal, serve 3 sliders per person.
  • Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • You can freeze the sliders for up to 3 months; thaw before reheating.
  • Use homemade Hawaiian rolls or store-bought according to preference.
  • Adjust everything bagel seasoning quantity to taste or substitute with sesame seeds and garlic powder if unavailable.
